Overview 

Multi-generational Single Family Office in Chicago seeks a Chief Operating Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team (President, CIO, CFO and GC). The firm has well developed investment, accounting, and family office solutions and is seeking to continually improve their service offering.  

Highlights 

  • Provide direct oversight of HR, IT, Administrative Staff, Facilities, Family Office Services, and Communications to ensure smooth running firm operations 
  • Partner with the Director of Family Services to develop and implement key strategic initiatives and programs for the family 
  • Participate in the development of, and lead as appropriate, important strategic priorities and projects across all functional areas including Finance and Compliance
  • Foster a collaborative culture of teamwork, consensus, and collegiality while at the same time ensuring accountability, strong communication, and organizational effectiveness 
  • Potential to participate in co-investing incentive vehicles in well established firm with a culture of excellence and dynamic growth 

Requirements 

  • Experience with family office services for ultra high net worth families
  • 10+ years tactical and strategic operational leadership experience
  • Thorough understanding of the Private Equity industry
